WTF can someone explain why a house listed for $300k in Monroe, LA sold for 3.6mil?

that is a misprint. That house is down the street from my mom's house
ETA: grew up with the family that lived in that house. They moved across the street, built a beautiful home right on the bayou. The home listed there is nice but would never sell for that amount
ETA2: realized they still have the house at 3905 Deborah still listed. That house sold last year I believe. It's not even standing anymore. Someone bought it and tore it down. Getting ready to build on it now.
