re: Wouldn't it make sense to incentivize people to get vaccinated?

This isn't about your line of thinking. This is strictly "would it matter to many in the general public?"
I think the public is turning without CDC or pop culture guidance...

What was wrong with his statement? Almost all of the data on the Moderan and Pfizer vaccine say they're around 95% effective. That's a pretty remarkable level of effectiveness in such a short time, and it's less than 100%.
And his earlier point was correct as well. The more people get vaccinated, the less hosts there are for the virus and its mutations, and that effectiveness number goes up. There are plenty of diseases that have been all but eradicated with vaccines.

Heck in the same "cousin from boston" commercial, they have him partying with friends with no masks the same time the gal is like "continue to wear your mask"
This is partially what was the impetus for this thread.
Every time I see that commercial I get fricking ANGRY

People have every right to refuse a medical procedure.

I would submit, perhaps, the vaccinations have been TOO successful for this wretched bunch. I honestly don't think they expected this many people to get them (I contend we are at basically "herd immunity" right now) and they are still drunk with what this ridiculous covid shite has given them and don't want to give it up just yet, and didn't expect to really "scientifically" be in a position to be able to do so.
They are really that terrible.
Which is why I think a small part of them refuse to say that vaccinations make you able to do whatever you want.
They don't want that.

I know you are a vapid moron that has absolutely no issue stating outright lies trying to prove a point.
But none of what you just said has anything to do with what he posted. In fact, it further supports that his post is remarkably ignorant.

I think that's flawed data, based on big pharma's track record...I don't think they even know.

Show me the part where I, or anyone in this thread, said they cannot?
My god, the amount of people that cannot grasp the concept here is truly mind boggling.

Present your evidence.
There is a clear reduction in covid cases, hospitalizations, and deaths almost everywhere that vaccine rates have increased.

And that should be the public face of this vaccine. The logic behind why it’s in your best interest and the interest of others to get it. Not some phony argument about “ getting back “ rights I already exercise. If anything, that will just make people ( rightfully) more defiant.

Sadly, I suspect it might be more than a "small part" of them.

Your presentation was not concise...it should have been...
"For all the lemmings that adhere to the government, CDC, corporation and celebrity messaging, what would be the best incentive to get those mental cockroaches to take the vaccine?
Personally if I wanted them to take it I would have presented the old normal as the result of 99% of the populace receiving the vaccine. I disagree with their mixed messaging and confusion as a pathway to fully opening the corporate bell-cows to the public."

Obviously the CDC would present it as "You're safe to do whatever as long as you're vaccinated"
But the reality for most Americans would be "I can do whatever I want now"

and the interest of others
This is irrelevant in the USA. We are a nation founded on individual liberty and not some greater good principle.

It wouldn't matter how they presented it to the public. The well on the whole thing has been poisoned from the start.

Somewhere in here you'll find the reasoning...

Strangely there has always been a decline at some point after a pandemic was introduced into a population. And if you control the presentation/data mechanism, you can make that whenever.

True enough. Thank God. But we make personal decisions based on others all day every day .

I do not mean monetarily like WV is doing.
What I mean is:
The CDC and local governments generally have the same rules in place for people that are vaccinated vs those that aren't. If there is no benefits to getting vaccinated, then most people think: What is the fricking point?
If the CDC just came out and said what everyone already knows, "If you're vaccinated, then you can do whatever you want with no restrictions at all."...wouldn't more people get vaccinated?
This could actually be more dangerous.
Govt: You can go back to normal as long as you do xyz.
Citizen: Well I really want to the ability to do what xyz so Ok.
People will say, “Oh you big conspiracy theorist! They just want us to be safe. It’s just one little thing!”
The cooking a frog in a pot analogy is spot on here. If you throw a frog into a pot of boiling water, he will hop out. If you put him in warm water and slowly raise it to a boil then you will cook him alive.
