It's probably just me, but I go for food, not for social values.

Well for example it goes deeper than just who you vote for. Most people based their votes on particular issues. But I get what youre saying and everyone else too and if i was a business owner I probably wouldn't take a side either but its crazy how you can support a business and they can be pos and you not even know it

It's amazing this since of entitlement and cancel culture. This owner is trying to run a business and his employees are going to sabotage that because he is trying to avoid saying anything that may hurt his business?

Also, that guys full name is in the text, may want to remove it.

Popeyes May well have better food (I went to each maybe twice last year). But we can’t deny that CFA’s customer service has created a niche market for themselves that keeps them competitive.

kicked out of college for taking a conservative stance. Liberal is okay though

Lay off the Fox News there brotha, I was conservative all through college and never had a problem let alone got kicked out of college for it. Nobody in this country is getting kicked out of a college (public or private) for their political party affiliation.

Well staying a part of something like that kind of includes you into those beliefs.

I agree trying to force the owner is wrong and the dude is way out of line.

And thanks. I didn't even see his name the first time

Let’s take recycling for example. I think there’s different ways to handle it that could prove divisive or non offensive. If I wanted to buy only recycled paper products and paper straws, eliminate styrofoam, put recycle bins up, and put practices up that recycle products from the kitchen and that’s fine. The divisiveness could however come in how I decide to market this or not. If I put signage up everywhere preaching recycling and virtue signaling it could quite easily be seen as offensive to people who either simply don’t want to hear your sermons on the matter, or see it as left leaning. OR, you could just do it without making a show of it because you think it’s the right thing to do for your business and most people wouldn’t even notice and those who did because they favor recycling and it’s a big thing for them would like that and the others wouldn’t care one way or the other because it’s only about the product you’re putting out, and you’re not jamming your beliefs down their throat.

That wasn't even their corporate beliefs. Just the beliefs of the CEO.

And he never said what they accused him of saying.
