Instead I will reply as to what your definition of "is" is. Then dismiss your whole argument.

Well if your verifiable fact is really an anom source, then those DVs are warranted. The "verifiable fact" has been abused by both sides over there.

By "verifiable fact" I was referring to verifiable facts. By definition, "anom" sources don't fall under that umbrella. Sorry if I was unclear.

Personally I think that's when this site started going downhill is when they implemented it. It stifles conversation and people begin to be too big of pussies to actually post.

Then you are not there enough. They list stuff as fact and use stories from the media as their proof to that fact. Most of those stories are based off unnamed sources.

Again, you miss the point. I am not referring to those examples of non-verifiable facts that you are going on about. I'm referring to verifiable facts. Those being facts that can be demonstrably proven. I agree that people often post nonsense that can't be backed up. That isn't what I'm talking about.
Do you agree that facts exist? Yes? Do you believe that some facts can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt? Yes? Well, those are the facts I'm referring to. Not the un-verified facts you keep attempting to introduce to my comments.
