I’ve seen a lot of movies, and I’ve read a lot of books. The ONLY time that the movie was better than the book was The Shining.

Book for me.

Don't watch much TV, but been enjoying the Bosch series lately. IMO, the Bosch books from Michael Connelly are hands down the best detective book series. And they didn't "Hollywood-ize" the TV version too much.

Tried to watch the CJ Box Joe Pickett series, but it's is really woke compared to the books. It's not well cast unfortunately.

I do enjoy watching what Hollywood does with books, however, so I can complain about it. Like most Stephen King books. But some they do get right, like The Shining.

I always have 4-5 books stacked on my nightstand, fiction and non-fiction.
