Lets do the math. 17 weeks at 40 hr/wk is 680 hours. 6 weeks at 40 hr/wk is 240 hours. You'll forfeit 440 hours of leave for $30,000. Basically you'd earn an extra $68.18 per hour instead of having that hour off.

I'm afraid if I had 17 weeks off I'd spend $30,000 on hookers and blow... that's a $60,000 hit. I better keep working.
