The way you phrase it makes A seem much better. The thing is places with really harsh winters tend to have really cold falls, and snow after spring starts.

Pacific NW is one of my favorite places. Spending summers in Washington and British Colombia made me want to move there at some point

You nailed it man.

I'm sick and tired of the weather down here. One of the main reasons I'm trying to get out of this region.

Lived in Des Moines for 4 years. The winter temps were rough, but the worst part was that they can last through April. The low humidity was really nice

Yea the long winters do suck. But if that means the temperature reaches the mid 80s under 10 times a year I'll take it

How would you have phrased it ? I thought I made it very equal , I'm pretty sure everyone understands how bad a harsh winter is in the north

Yep. Doesn't get extremely cold or scorching hot, but has enough variance to experience a little of every season.

If I had the $$$$ I'd live up North in the summer and in the South during the winter.

Yea, I imagine it gets a lot hotter in Iowa. I live a block from Lake Michigan so I have that extra temperature drop

Why do people exaggerate? I live in FL (albeit north FL) and it can be cold as hell in late march. Its certainly not hot or humid. It doesn't get what I would call hot and humid until June.

Currently in NY, I kinda like it here. Wife prefers the south.

Will likely move back south one of these days.

This is one of the nice things about living in Kentucky. We get all the seasons, plenty of heat and plenty of cold, with lots of in between.
