I saw a bob clear a jump of at least 10 ft jumping over a creek. Wants no parts of that.

I think most of the rednecks on the outdoor board would agree with me:
Once a pit bull gets those bloodshot red eyes, he won’t stop until he clenches his jaw down and won’t let go until the victim stops moving.
At least a bobcat would likely run away after a bit if you put up a fight.

When I was around 10, I wanted to see if it was true that cats always land on their feet. I decided to test this theory by attempting to drop my neighbor’s cat off the roof while holding it upside down by its paws. When I attempted to get the cat in position, I might as well have just stuck my arms in a large blender. Frick cats of any type (though I obviously got what I deserved). Bring on the pitbull.

If bare hands, I'd rather fight the pit bull. bobcat would shred almost any human in the blink of an eye. Would be easier to escape the pit bull if we're allowing for that possibility.

I see bobcats a lot on the farm.
They pretty much will stay their distance and watch you. I had one for years near my camp at Toledo Bend. When I was on my deck he would come out and lay by the woods line watching me.
Pit bull determined to get what it wants and does not quit. That is more dangerous.
