Resto mod. 1968 Mustang fastback with a built/supercharged Coyote, T-56, 8.8 stick axle, tubular front and rear suspension, power disc brakes, etc. Power and convenience of a modern engine with the ease of maintenance of a classic.

Yeah, I raced one in my 70 - ss454, 450hp.

when his front tires left the ground (the hemi) I knew I had made a mistake.....

Truth be told the 440 was stronger out of the hole and up until the 1/8, after that the 426 would pull away. The Hemi's power advantage was in the heads.

I have a 69 Chevelle with a 350 crate engine.

I was planning on getting an old Dodge Power Wagon or Ford F100 as well, but we had a kid and that ended that. I got a mid-sized SUV instead

This was my dad's first car. He worked at a paint and body shop starting at 14 yrs old and saved up to buy it. He sold it so that he could pay for college. I'm hoping one day I can buy another one for him.

I much prefer my own 1969 Dodge Dart GT. Though it can be considered a tad bit unreliable.

Yeah, I was looking for paint codes awhile back and came across this website that has sample paint chips and codes. The names they came up with:

I wanted an old Bronco more then 30 years ago. Got one 15 years later and finally finished it, at least the outside. Looks great

I get a lot of comments, but it took a whole lot of work

I enjoy the looks of new cars more. Plus the technology in them is SO MUCH more advanced

I hope the bubble gets bigger and bigger.

I can't afford any new cars that I want so I currently don't own anything new. I have 4 cars, my newest one is a 2003 and has 250k miles LOL My oldest one is a 1986 and has 89k miles.

Nice...

All bubbles tend to burst especially when it includes the base cars not just low production... Happened to the Corvette and Mopars.

Only one I see holding long term are the 993s.

With that said Id watch it closely and dump it.

I'd take a challenger hellcat over buying a classic muscle car.

But I would rather restore a Chevelle SS than buying a new muscle car. Nothing like turning your own wrenches and bringing a classic back to life.
