This. For example: Chicago has had over 2,636 shooting victims this year. Paris had 73 murders in 2013, shootings are rare. Louisiana has a higher murder rate than Paris as well.

I lived in London for 27 years, I heard actual bombs go off from my house in 1994. Just go, you'll be fine. Plus this is about the only time Parisians will actually be outwardly hospitable.

She's an ex (sort of). We lived in BR, and she left for a work assignment in Dubai. We're meeting in Paris.
