re: Would you feel disappointed if you raised this?

My nephew left for college as a perfectly normal kid with a full scholarship.
A year in, after hanging out with gamer nerds during covid, he decides he is a she. And loses his scholarship. He’s insane and suicidal. I honestly would be surprised if he doesn’t lull himself eventually.
His parents did nothing wrong as far as we know. Very involved, normal family. They have other kids that are doing great. The mom is trying to cope with it, my brother is pretty freaking disappointed. Nephew did agree to get counseling, which is good.
I can totally imagine this freak’s mom trying to just maintain communication, and a dad mourning.

Why is this not a surprise?

My daughter stopped dating a guy she really liked when he told her he voted for Obama. I got no worries.

“Tells me evvvvvverything I need to know about you.”
But I bet if you categorize her from the first whiff of patchouli across the room, you are being a closed minded intolerant bigot.

You're a so called grown man who does nothing all day but search Twitter for Prog stuff to bring here. I'm not certain who the more dramatic person is... Ms. Prog and her hair(s) or you for posting Tweets like a 17 year old

Yea the first 18 or so batshit progs he brought here were mildly interesting but we’re on month 15 of stout making 4-6 daily threads for every weirdo lib he actively searches for on the OT. We get it. There’s weird arse libs on the internet.
