Would you ever get out of your vehicle and confront another driver?

Last week while in morning traffic, I pass a subdivision and after passing the entrance, a guy in a truck pulls out of it, right in front of the guy behind me. So now the guy who pulled out is behind me and the guy he pulled in front of is laying on his horn (everyone's pissed because traffic was straight out of hell). Then the guy who's now behind me lays on his horn as well. Both lay on their horns for 15-20 seconds while we're all just stopped in traffic, not able to go anywhere.

I watched as the guy behind me gets out of his vehicle and goes to confront the other guy. They get in each other's faces yelling and it was about to go down. I started looking for a way to get out of there in case bullets started flying but I was trapped. My wife always tells me following too closely is going to be the death of me one day and I was too close to the car in front of me to go anywhere. I couldn't help but to think how my wife was right .

Then after about 20 seconds of them screaming in each other's faces they just stopped and got back into their vehicles.

But how stupid is that do to? I don't care how mad I am at someone else on the road, I'm not getting out of my vehicle because you never know who has a gun and who doesn't. That's a great way to die.




I know, wall of text. Short version: guy got out of his truck to confront another driver during road rage. Verbal argument ensued and luckily they never got physical and just got back into their vehicles. Who's dumb enough to do something like that?
