This is pretty cool. Would Drive. Neat that they used that Chevy Blue.
Also, this is my hope on what the new Wagoneer will look like. Super modern on the inside while the exterior pays homage to the original.

The Jeep Commander tried to go that route.

Yeah, that was pitiful. Didn't capture the look...
However, if it comes out looking like a large Cherokee...then what a waste.
Also, since it will be on a 1500 platform, would be great if Dodge brought back the Ram Charger and Prospectors. I still have the Ram hood ornament from mine.

Yea, it did but it didn’t.
I also think they fell a little short while being ahead of their time with the throwback type of vehicle.
I did like how you could get them 4wd with the 5.7 tho.

You're in luck! I know a paint/body guy.

how are they going to go all out on the body and just do an insert panel on the seats. The interior is severely lacking for the coin spent on it.

Yes, quite attractive to me!

I mean....yeah I guess. But part of the appeal of a K5 to me is that it’s topless, on a dirt road, and I’m bouncing around the vinyl interior with the windows down. There’s a cooler full of Miller Lite in the backseat, a soft pack of Marlboros up on the dash, and Travis Tritt is blaring on the radio. Next to me is a blonde sorostitute and she’s in cutoffs and a bikini top with her bare feet up on the dash. And she’s got on Aviators and we’re headed to the river to drink and get high and skinny dip.
We can smoke and drink and throw our empties in the back seat and If they leak a little, I don’t care. Get in with wet, muddy shoes and clothes - don’t matter, rinse it out with the hose. Get frisky all over the backseat, no worries. It’s a fun vehicle designed for fun.
Air-conditioned leather seats and power tilt steering wheel kind of kills that dream for me...
So on second though, nah bruh, give me a 1972 model and Amber and the dirt road and I’m way happier.

if they did this with all modern trucks, camaros, and mustangs, putting 70s bodies on 2020 frames suspension and power, they would literally not be able to build them fast enough

This fad seems to have cooled off a bit. Local dealer had one on the lot for nearly a year.
In WI those steel wheels are gonna start rusting the first winter.
