Parts are so plentiful for trucks and gbody cars for those years.
They are also accommodate small blocks, big blocks and a variety of transmissions without any problems.
I'd drive one.

G body's are nice cruising cars. Comfy as hell.

I actually kind of miss those old soft pillowy seats. Drove one from WI to western MT and wasn't sore at all.

Most all new cars ride like a lumber wagon in comparison.

I'd love to have my dad's ram charger from when I was a kid. 8 track and all.

Lol…

I bought one and drove it. Underpowered gas hog.

It’s a collective vehicle now but I replaced that tailgate pull 4 times in the short time I owned it…

I’ll check it out. Im down on the beach and I have a garage so I’d like to just take the top off for the summer but have something like that for the sun.

So put a crate engine in it if you want speed. That’s like saying you don’t want a 69 bronco because it tops out at 55 mph.

That's what I did with mine, 355 crate motor, nice cam, headers, 3" exhaust, and so on and its fun with a th350. Fun truck to drive, everything is tight. I've dam near rebuilt the truck but it was worth doing b/c of no rust. Interior and undercarriage are both rhino lined too.

I was curious about that, so you you took out the carpet and rhino lined? Did you install any drain plugs?

No drain plugs, just stripped it down and applied coating

That thang sho would look good with the Carolina lift.

I would love to have that truck. Wouldn't change a thing on it... would rather not have a red interior though.

I had the exact Blazer, just 12 years older. Black Cheyenne, same color interior. But in '75, the top came off to the windshield.

I’m not buying a vehicle to make money off of it. If I want an investment I’ll buy stock.
If I’m getting a square body Chevy I’m driving it.

Yes.
But is there a commercial repair shop with a mechanic that has the experience to fix it?
