Interesting comparison for Manual vs automatic on the M2.
US was a little of 50% manual it seems compared to <25% Rest of World.

I still believe its because of inventory. People just took what was available.

I wonder if being an M2 skews that data even more. M2 seems like a car that would be bought with the idea of a lot of trackdays in mind

People using the 335/262 numbers are using the B58 current numbers.

335 would be a disappointment

The engine's numbers aren't what's disappointing. What's disappointing is the outsourced engine.
This is a BMW in a Toyota shell.

Yeah, and at the price they are asking for (54k), I'll stick with Lexus.

A lot of people expected more, but the 1990s model that so many are fond of now was never intended to be a super car.
I am concerned about the price Toyota will list this thing at.

The Supra name probably contributes about $15K to that price.

The cayman quoted does 0-60 in 3.9.
So if the car comes in 2900 and ~ 350 hp it can definitely at least do 3.9.
Member that time you thought it could weigh as little as 2900 lbs?
Posted on 1/14/19 at 11:32 am to s14suspense
Yeah and it weighs 3397

Most of them still sucking off the Toyota insider, but there's apparently some Alpha Supra that hasn't been made aware to the public.
No way in hell im touching this car. I'm going to wait for the IS-F.

Trust me im pisssssed
I am begging at this point that the 2020-2021 IS-F is really going to have the TT-V6 the LS has in it currently.
Lexus is trying hard to get performance into their vehicles as you can see with the RC-F Track edition etc.

My MKIV 98 NA will be worth more in a few years than this POS.
Just a cheap rebrand attempt.
