I'm 33 if I added $2 million I'd never have to work again. I'd just pull 3% a year and adjust for inflation, that would be $60k a year for the rest of my life without even touching principal.

Theres a place in effingham county ,ga where they have iPads for the inmates. you can lay in your cell and watch movies,surf on them. you pay for time on them like you do the phones

Yep, a friend of mine inherited 2.4 million. Invested it wisely, and retired at 40. Doesn't touch the principal.

The quality of your prison is pretty much determined by the guards. Federal prisons have GREAT guards. Well trained and usually have military/law enforcement experience.
State? Starting salary is around 19 to 21k. They are ghetto folk who usually end up getting arrested for sneaking in contraband.

Two years is two years, Fed pen is where it's at. I'd just get on a 24-month lifting program and hone my handball skills, sleep good at night dreaming of the $2 mill that will enable me to never work again.
