Would you buy a house that flooded

Say a house flooded in 2016 when the Lafayette area got slammed. Would you consider buying it knowing that was a freak storm?

yes but be careful it was repaired properly and check the cost of flood insurance going forward.

Eeehh. Not sure I’d buy there if it already flooded. Some areas flooded because of poor infrastructure. I’d imagine that area can’t be “helped” unless there were substantial improvements.

And no not dredging the vermilion

If you really like the house, go for it.

It's all dicey out that way anyways.
