At the altitudes they'd fly, it would almost certainly be uncontrolled airspace.

777 you dont think they would require those cross-traffic boxes?

I forgot the proper name of the device. It gives gps to every other aircraft around you.

This honestly just sounds like something for corporate folks though for the most part.

Sure it would be great for me to go from The Star in Frisco to Dallas/Arlington in 10 minutes or whatever, but when I Uber, it's usually because I'm going somewhere and drinking, so this doesn't really solve that problem since I still have to drive out to get to the flying taxi rendering it pointless for my, and I'm sure a ton of others, normal usage.

Yeah no kidding, I'd try it too

We've been Uber loyalists since back in the black car only days, I remember the first time doing X with some random dude being like "we might die here."

Now some unknown person flying you in an unknown flying vehicle is upping the ante somewhat, but I welcome the NWO

Same here

Granted, one thing I'm not really factoring is cost. In my mind I'm thinking the same as a regular Uber nowadays, but I'm sure the cost will make it not really worthwhile to take the flying Uber from Frisco to, say, Dallas just for a night out drinking or whatever.

I would use the hell out of UBER Air Taxi. I hate sitting in fricking traffic more than anything.
