Burning shite with diesel in Iraq is a no doubter. It was a job but not the overall mission ofcourse.

Lifeguard. Broiling sun, bratty ten year olds, and picking up dirty diapers by the kiddie pool.

FedGov
I retired in 2015. I hated that place profoundly. The money and benefits were great. The organization sucked beyond belief. Literally everybody there hated it but nobody would ever leave because of the pot of gold in the end. Me included.

The worst work experience that resulted in the worst job I ever had was a job with the Louisiana State Homeland Security Department. It was the Summer before my last semester of school, I was taking summer classes and there was a part-time job opening with Homeland Security. The job description required a lot more than the actual job.
Based on the description, I thought it was a part-time job assisting a manager with "data development" and the description said "with opportunity to eventually work full-time". I applied, they called me to come in for an interview and the next day they called and offered me the job, which I accepted.
I was told my first few days would be work training, which was a few hours a day for 2 or 3 days in a row. It was similar to going to safety classes. During that time I never seen the two guys who interviewed me. Instead this woman tells me that she was my manager. The job was basically a phone operator job and my manager told me my first shift would be the upcoming Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night shift. I went in that Friday night and it was just me and this black chick working that night.
Evidently the manager told her she had to train me, but on that Friday the girl was leaving early. She was there for only 2 or 3 hrs and for the rest of the shift I was there alone. There was information that came in that needed to be logged in which I had no idea where to log it in, there was a certain call in which people from all over the country listened in on and I had no idea what I was suppose to do. When the people from the next shift came in they couldn't believe someone whose first night on the job was there most of the night alone so they showed me what I had to do.
So I figured the next day should go better. As for as I knew, someone was going to be there with me the whole time, etc. Well, when I got there the girl tells me "I came in earlier to relieve someone from the previous shift because I have something to do" so I ended up being there the whole shift by myself. Something came up that I was not told anything about. I had to call the manager later that night/early morning and she told me I needed to call a certain guy, which I did. He came in and it had nothing to do with him, it was actually on the manager. Dude was pissed that she told me to call him.
At that point I decided I was done. I only answered the phone just in case it was a life or death situation, people would call there for things they should have called 911 for. There was a TV in there with cable so I watched TV and fricked off on the internet. About 10 mins before the shift was over, right before the other people came in, I put my badge on the manager's desk and sent her an email informing her I was done because I didn't want to work for a manager who put me in the situation she did. There was this other girl who was hired the same time I was, we exchanged numbers since we were in it together.
A few days later I talked with that girl and I told her what happened and she told me the manager told everyone I was evidently a racist because the reason I quit was due to having to work with a black girl. Evidently the manager was bat shite crazy, her and her husband was in a star trek club there they meet up and dress like star trek characters. That weekend I worked, they had an event so that was the reason she passed on her responsibility to someone else. About 2 months later the girl texted me and told me she (manager) was fired. But that was by far the worst experience I had on a job.

I worked at a coffee shop during the day and a bar at night for the same owner. Bouncing and door man was ok, but cleaning the bathrooms at the bar after hours was the worst job I ever had. I decided to and ended up going to law school because of that job.

Supervisor at Dick's Sporting Goods.
frick that place. That was the worst run business I've ever been at, they'll micromanage and berate the shite out of you. I worked there when I was 20. I became insubordinate as frick when my higher supervisors tried chewing me or writing me up over shite they had no clue about or for something someone else was getting away with. They ended up firing the store manager for poor performance then tried firing me saying I was using my employee discount to make purchases for family members. They named off items that I had never even purchased.

I had a friend who worked at McDonald's for 1 night. There was a situation in the women's bathroom. He was told he had to go clean it up. Evidently someone couldn't make it until they completely sat down on the toilet and had shite all over the wall and the toilet. According to him, he didn't tell anyone anything. He left the mop and cleaning supplies in the bathroom, walked out and never went back.

Welders helper over Christmas holiday working for Barnard & Burch. Had no experience other than torch and arc welding in HS shop. Used an argon torch to cut plates and didn't drink milk at lunch, was gassed, had sweats and chills all night. That was just the beginning. That experience that told me I needed to graduate from LSU and have an office job.

I was working at a marina when I graduated college in January 2008. The marina laid off all of the employees in February 2008 so I was on unemployment. I interviewed at a plasma "donation" facility as a training manager here in Georgia. I had exactly zero desire to work there, but went to the interview to abide by the unemployment rules. I tried to bomb the interview but guess what I must has sucked just a little less than everyone else who interviewed and was offered the job. Dealing with the dregs of society and the crackheads everyday will really jade a person. I was filling out applications left and right and then October 2008 happened and I was stuck. 4 years of hating my life everyday I was at work made for a miserable time. When I received that job offer from the company I work for now, it felt like I had been paroled from prison. That was the worst job I have ever had and I have done a lot of same shitty summer jobs that people have listed and I would rather sweat my balls off for minimum wage in the South Ga heat than to deal with people who have absolutely no qualities in life besides making welfare babies and being criminals.

Natural Gas Field when I was 18. One summer we had to dig ditches for conduit to replace old controls with new controls. Control panel had to be 30 feet from pump and conduit had to be 2 feet in ground. We dug over 150 of those in the middle of summer with shovels, pick axes and posthole diggers. No shade. Guys passed out. Two had to be hospitalized. I made 4.50 an hour. Good times.
