Charles De Gaulle in Paris.

I actually like EWR if you can fly off peak times - 45 mins from Midtown to EWR and about an hour for the inverse. The 5:15 AM ET to Houston is clutch as well.

MCI was designed well before 9/11 and thus has a shitty layout.
Anyone that says ATL is an idiot.
MSP is a poor connecting airport. So is LAX switching terminals.

I love the lafayette airport. Park 50 feet from the door, and show up 30 min before your flight. It doesn't get any better than that.
Agree

Maybe someone has already said this but I'm not reading seven pages to find out.
I've flown through KC enough times that I researched why the layout is that bad. The KC airport was designed and built in the late 60's to early 70's (can't you tell by the decor?) just before airports started getting serious about security. At that time they (mostly TWA) wanted a layout where people could almost drive right up to the gate and it was purposely designed so you could walk in the door and basically walk to the other side of the hall and board. It was a big selling point at the time.
But this doesn't play well with security checkpoints at all. Security checkpoints weren't mandated until after the building was up, at that point the only thing they could do was divide the gates from the amenities.
Once you get around that annoyance it's actually a pretty well-run airport and does well in various surveys.

It's shameful for an international airport.

EWR not even going to read this thread. But if you travel for a living, this is the only answer.

Dubrovnik Yugoslavia in the mid 80s was by far the worst due to the volume of guards with huge guns.
But also frick Memphis. Getting from the first gate to the last one in that stupid arse horseshoe is annoying and aggrevating.

It's an absolute consensus on how terrible it is. All my international friends swear by the fact that its the worst airport in the world.

I almost missed a connection at MSP. That terminal tram didn't go that far and I had to sprint. It's a huge terminal too
At least they have a huge Snoopy

It takes 6 minutes tops. Go to fricking Charlotte and get back to me.

Don't get the hate for memphis. While it is certainly not the most aesthetic airport, it is easy to get in and out of and they have good food.
That's really all I care about if have a long layover.

LAX is a dump, but the last time I was at the Baton Rouge airport I saw a couple of mice running around the baggage claim area. That takes the cake for grossness. Cinci is probably my least favorite airport though. Just never cared for it for some reason.

It looks nice. That's seemed to be their only concern when building it.

Casper, WY. They don't even have real airplanes. Just small shuttles to real airports.

Their airport isn't even in Ohio.

I've never had a smooth landing at that airport. Not once.
