True, they aren't isolation exercises. However, they are both very highly recommend for building up your arms.

They're mostly back and chest respectively though. I think curls, tricep push downs, etc are pretty pointless.

I don't find an issue with it. I like doing a second chest day for incline and flat bench plus arms on Friday. Then arms just get secondary work through the week. And if I miss a day that day gets deleted.

Bros, here is my routine

Mon-straight bar arm curls
Tues- offset bar arm curls
Wen- dumbbell arm curls
Thursday-rest
Fri- forearm curls
Sat- biceps mirror flex. No weight. Just flex and hold for 20 seconds on first set. Hold 10 additional seconds each set until 60 seconds. Pyramid back down.
Sun-rest

workouts are always changing.. but this is what i'm running now.

monday - shoulders/traps/neck
tuesday - day (cardio) night (back)
wednesday - day (abs, calves) night (legs/hams)
thursday - chest
friday - arms, 4 arms
