I have some interior work, door cards, rubber bits around the windows to change, and the washer fluid motor to replace. Probably just get my fix that way and bring her to the shop.

they have mechanics that will come to your house and fix all that cheaper then dealership or shop prices but your getting bubba the shade tree mechanics, they might be perfectly fine mechanics or they could be goobers who know a little about carsand have tools and just trying to make a side hustle

There’s a fiddly bit inside the valve cover that is related to timing, and it’s stopped me so far. That, and the inline 6 stretches back well under the windshield.

Just figured out my car doesn’t have a thrust arm at all, it’s a tension arm.
I may should just get all the bushings replaced. It’s got 160k on it. Probably been time. Shocks are probably shot too.
