You won't hear a peep. There's a small to no chance of rain for the next 10 days.

Wow. Second time I've been able to use this today in a thread about that dumpster fire of a city.

Wait, what? They're going to leave Bourbon torn up for another 7 months?

is that a big deal with a Cat 5 Hurricane out there and a Tropical Storm in the gulf?

yikes.

Actually, I find it rather interesting that once the models pretty much eliminated Irma as a threat to NOLA then and only then we have a "fire" at a pump station.

Im going to go with...

Probably. Most of it is still running on 25Hz.

What fricking clown show this city has become. Its always been kind of a joke that New Orleans was dysfunctional, but it was always a benign kind of neglect. Mitch and his lemmings have taken this shite to a new level. I honestly want nothing but bad things for that man.

Aren't they claiming that they'll finish the portion that's already gotten torn up by Mardi Gras, but it's the parts of Bourbon farther down that'll get delayed?

I'd still bet on Bourbon Street being a deathtrap come Mardi Gras, no matter what the government claims.

That's exactly what is happening. But the haters on here don't know how to read.

You are assuming they are properly insured. That's a heck of an assumption.

Don't see that coming either.
