Then what is the problem?

The picture is all over twitter.

Why can’t I post it?

...and if some of the man's family posts here?

Would you like the pictures of the body of your dad/son/brother posted?

You can post it. I think you can at least.

Do your thing though.

well yeah one of them was a controlled demolition where debris turned into dust as it was falling down meanwhile this building is still relatively intact with a giant crane dangling on top of it. Big difference

Controlled demolition

And it was still two fricking massive skyscrapers that were vastly larger than any building in New Orleans

I don't think anyone is making jokes or being disrespectful about it.

It wasn't the city that was negligent. It wasn't the city that was building this. How is the city supposed to get those remains without risking others ? I'm a small government conservative but it's ridiculous to blame the city. I know one thing, because of the bad publicity and inconvenience that the city is suffering and because people were killed, I would immediately seize all property from the owners and it would belong to the city. THat's after the private entities clean it up and pay for it. and maybe put people in prison that were negligent.

IT IS VISIBLE FROM THE DAMN STREET. I think they've got bigger worries.

It is also all over the internet right now.

Most family members see the deceased in person I'd imagine.

can someone give me a background on this story? heard about it briefly but never read into details

Engineering firm screwed the pooch on a new hotel resort, it collapsed and killed three workers, but we got a black mayor so it's her fault somehow.

that turned relatively into complete dust and rubble. People thought it would take a couple years. The cleanup was quick and easy overall because it wasn’t as complicated of a cleanup project

It literally being visible from the street is a defense, yes.

We are allowed to show that and discuss it. We aren't saying bad things about the guy or his family.

Doesn’t look like much decomposing. How long has it been? October right or was it November?
