Husband sound like he is insecure as shite. I suspect she has not ever cheated on him but they probably are in a controlling relationship.
She will divorce him eventually. The whole trip he is going to be calling and crap.
Just do your thing. Don’t be tempted even if you can smell it.
It is odd she brought it up with management. I would be a little offended by that.
Have you done any gin g the husband may know about? Did you screw up at the Christmas party probably the one time you see him each year. He may have a different view of who you really are.
Do not talk to the guy if he calls.

I’ve never met him. He’s been up here a few times to meet her for lunch or something, but she hasn’t introduced him to anyone, or at least to me. Our CEO is a recovering alcoholic so there’s never alcohol at any company events.
For further context, I’m 54 and she’s mid to late 30’s.
