I have only heard the word "grapnel" used by someone else once in my life. I guess for some crazy reason I remembered what it was. Because I used it once during scrabble and everyone said I was making the word up. I explain to them what it was but they still were laughing at me. I had them get a dictionary to prove I was correct. What makes it even better is I was about 10 years old playing with adult family members. Two other adult family members who were not playing kept saying I was right and they thought we were in some kind of cahoots
