30 guesses. Quick in less than 10 minutes right after midnight. I was super cold on the first 20. Then I hit on a very low number, then boomed up to 600+. Went on a blitzing run between guesses 26-30.

You’ll like today’s word because it’s not “easy”, but at least it’s a fairly common word and you should get it easily enough once you get close enough.

I pressed give up for the first time. My first top 1000 guess was #980, which IMO looks really out of place among the list of nearest words. So that led me down a path of 50+ guesses which only served to piss me off.

50 for me. I guess I didn't hit on any of the misdirection words that you did, and like I did the day I gave up. I had 9 in the top 1000 and they all pretty well point to the word.

After I get close with some decent greens and I can’t get closer I just hit the “hint” button. Ain’t nobody got all day to be guessing some random word.
