It's also a region of French red wine. Fun Fact.

ETA: Scooba beat me to it.

Its a lovely word and the world would be a happier place if people had more access to their own hermitage.

Wifes goal in life that our camp become our hermitage. She only leaves the property about once a month for a dr visit or maybe to go to the superstore with me. She threw away her cell phone a year ago and does not miss it.

When we first met, i told her i would never retire and would always work. I think she tricked me though. She decided we should buy a camp on a lil river so i could fish from home. Damned if i didnt retire and stay my old arse home all day fishing from my yard.

I also realized that my main reason for being a workaholic with my ex was that work was my escape from the hell that was our home. I dont have that problem anymore. The older i get, the more i love the recluse life at home.

Hermitage!! You need to gitchu one!
