They actually use a method that seems easier to me. First name + dad's last name + mom's last name. Women don't have to change their last name because their kids already include her last name. Everyone wins.

Right, but who decides the name? How many generations does it last? South Park satirized the concept by giving its San Fran kids double hyphen names, like John Merriweather-Harris-Jones-McGill.
