You're downvoted, but you're right. Also - the style of the times makes a big difference. A lot of the women in this thread were in their "prime" during the age of shoulder pads, huge bushy perms, frumpy suits, etc. Look at the before and after of some in this thread: Faith Hill, Julia Louis-Dreyfus.. Short hair and/or huge perms were in during their peak years. Women now go for the more natural long flowing hair, better makeup (lots of it, but no blues and greens), and form-fitting clothing.
