Psst...hey ding dong, the rebound girl saying she didn’t want to be the rebound girl was her trying to set a boundary because she realized she might like you like you. She was more than likely hoping to imitate a conversation about it, and you told her to frick off. 
appologize to that girl kiddo, even if you don’t like her that way. You’re damaged goods and she still saw something worth liking in you, and that deserves respect and honesty, and practicing that will make you a better man. Someone has to show that little lady of yours what to see In a man, and she’s going to learn a hell of a lot more from the action you take than anything else, don’t frick it up.
