Not only is he stinking up the OT with political nonsense, the shooter looks exactly like a deranged Bernie Bro.

Double fail.

I hope you don't use this method when opening or conceal carrying.

He did something stupid and it’s gonna cost him. He didn’t take off, though. He called 911 and rendered first aid. That’s gonna help him.

Sounds like he was barely on the wrong side of official sunset time and let off a pot shot from a pistol and he and the lady had the worst luck that day ever.

Reading is hard.

You’re probably a redneck though for getting so triggered by it.

Binoculars. Binoculars.Binoculars. You have some “ hunters” that shoot at hair while deer hunting, usually center body mass. They are disgraceful. This douche was shooting at shapes. One day I pulled up on two guys shooting out of a boat at a “ deer “ with a .300 Mag. I yelled WTF are y’all shooting at. They were shooting across the marsh and ponds. They pointed at the “deer”, who at that moment stood up with a push pole. The man was 750 yards away and never realized they were shooting at him. Inexperienced city slickers.

Only if the room is an igloo. I like that but I think you meant an oven. He would need the help.

Majority of Hunters aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

Is it illegal to hunt after sunset in that state? If so, it would be the first one I've heard of.

EDIT...yep, sunrise to sunset. Learning something new here.

You can bleed out pretty quick if it hits your femoral artery

I'm sure the round went through her pelvis. A person can exsanguinate from pelvic hemorrhage in a very short time.

I have to say that "I thought I saw a deer" seems like the first excuse to come to his mind. Was he in camo? In a stand? Did he have a rifle or slug gun with him?

Without knowing more, it sounds a lot like Billy Bob wanted to go shoot something and didn't care what it was. Probably just heard a noise in the woods and assumed it was an animal - dog, raccoon, whatever.

I've often said the most dangerous place in the world is in the woods on the first day of deer season.

I don’t understand how you can’t see something well enough to positively ID the target, but see it well enough to hit at that distance.

Is the “high powered pistol” thing a typical reporter that knows nothing about guns?

Even if he had something like a Desert Eagle, 200 yards is world class with one pull.

Was he just goofing and took the unluckiest pot shot in history?

Probably something like this:
