They quote Starbucks reply in the article which is basically "you know ther is ice in the drink dumbass." I just hope they don't pay her to go away and encourage this shite. Company's need to start fighting back against lawsuit abuse.

He's right. Cold brew and iced coffee are two different things at Starbucks. Cold brew is... cold brewed. Iced coffee is hot brewed concentrated coffee over ice. Ever noticed that it tastes more acidic than cold brew?

Well I can't speak for what Starbucks does, but in general cold brew is iced coffee. Maybe not for them, but for every other coffee house out there it is.

You can order light ice, which is what I do to get much more actual coffee.
As a matter of fact you can say NO ice and they will fill your entire venti to the top with coffee.

Not to go all F&D Board on you, but if that is your experience you should be frequenting better coffee houses. PJ's and Magpie are just two examples in BR where you can find (and enjoy) cold-brew coffee.

I think Starbucks is better than Puccinos. They fill the whole cup with ice. I think Starbucks fills 1/2. Or at least the one by me used to fill 1/2 the cup. There was a line to show how much to fill.
