If she killed someone from DUI, she should be executed.

She's going to regret that. Maybe she didn't know she killed the person.

Lengthy prison time? Probably not if it's her first offense.

First offense vehicular homicide should put her away for 5-7 years I would think.

Yes, she will not be put away for life for something that isn't a homicide unless, of course, it is a homicide.

Which more than likely it is not.

I know someone who did the same exact thing years ago here in Monroe, and he is back home with his family. He was so remorseful he never asked to get out of prison and apologized profusely to the mother of the victim he hit.

She has never forgiven him from what I know and did all she could to keep him in prison. Meanwhile he had two kids that were growing up with their mom but missing their dad.

Horrible ordeal and cant imagine the suffering from both parties invovled.

Way too short for drinking and driving and killing someone. Should be a life sentence by default, with an execution date set when found guilty.

Yeah I was about to say, you got dudes cold blodded murdering pizza guys out here that will never get executed.

And of course, shite ton of people are on some time of drug driving out there, people eating and driving, sleep deprivation, fumbling with radio. Lots of distractions that cause accidents.
