Let me ask you, if someone is stealing a flag off your lawn, do you believe that it’s your right as an American to shoot them? More importantly, do you believe in that right strongly enough to go to prison for it?

Yes I’ve read Two Treatises of Government, I don’t need to look it up. I also know that his meaning of property has been highly debated in the 400ish years since he wrote it.
I also know that laws evolve over time and should properly reflect the will of the people. Kind of like how 200 years ago people who didn’t own property couldn’t vote, which is far off kilter from American belief now.

I actually find wheat beer to be unpalatable, but that’s a debate for the Food and Drink Board. Also, that’s not at all what the debate of Lockes words is about, but ok. Way to start a debate invoking a political philosopher that wrote hundreds of pages on property and boiling it down to 10 words or so. I’m sure you encapsulated everything.
