I ride in endymion and have since 2008. I dont remember anybody dieing during the extravaganza except that lady who fell off the table back in 2004.
I do remember they had that DUI driver run over some people on the route like 2 years ago (I think)

This has happened sporadically over the years. Saw a kid about my age get rolled over in 73 or 74. Head got squished

shite completely forgot about that. Was my first year in. Totally wasted that year especially in the dome. Dont remember a damn thing from that year.

That was not a float, but a drunk driver driving his car into the crowd near Orleans Ave. and Carrollton Avenue.

2008. Happened after they got out of dome. Was in second float of 3 float grouping. He was getting off to walk inside and then got hit by third float because he stepped off too soon.

With all the people at the scene when it happened you don’t think that detail would have made its way to the news,etc more than 2 hours after the incident? I’m not even sure how that is possible and I really hope you are wrong

You may be right on a spectator getting killed. Although in my mind it seems like it has happened more than once since 81. Or maybe it was my parents repeatedly warning me every year that I would get run over if I didn’t leave that plastic crap alone
