Have you heard of the elderly spitting lady in New York?
She spits on random people for looking at her. Been arrested like 50 times, but has schizophrenia. She has been committed and has meds, but won't take them. Too expensive for the city to deal with I guess.
She spit on a co-worker of mine and he flipped out and some locals had to explain to him the lady basically has no clue what planet she's on.

Yup - if you talk to people in the quarter (or locations in short walking distance) you'll hear many a story of her screaming hateful death threats at people (or just the air).
Always carrying some random glass. From coffee mug to champagne flute.
I did hear she was pretty cute when she was able to be marginally functional in society.

Based off of what people on NOLA.com and other websites have said, she's an insane alcoholic who is always seen with a glass in hand like Julian from the Trailer Park Boys.
