This isn't even the first time this has happened in the past month. I saw a GoFundMe for a guy that did the same thing, blew half his hand off when trying to light a candle and turns out it was a M80 firecracker. Who the frick leaves that type of shite lying around?

Probably nobody. Doubtful it was real dynamite... especially one with a blasting cap and fuse in it. Probably was an M80 type firecracker often referred to as "1/4 stick of dynamite" which is an old redneck tale. No firecracker is anywhere close to the explosive power of dynamite.
