Does she own a gun? Is it missing? Is it usually in her purse and now it’s missing? Some women keep a gun in their car. Check that. Might be suicide in the woods. Hate to say this. Check if any guns missing at all.

No, suicide is the last thing I’d suspect. She was such a sweet and generous lady. Lives around family (her maiden name is Moore… Moore Lane).

I hope I’m wrong but I feel like she was abducted.

Looked at the map. That is isolated.

I would look at any new helpers, handymen, etc.

Get permission asap to search business property. Looks like some sand or gravel pits close by.

Her nephew is on the fugitive task force so I’m sure he has already looked for every camera in that vicinity.

I looked at the map too to see if there could be any businesses with cameras that could have gotten a look. Unfortunately that doesn't look like the case.

Are we under the assumption that this was an abduction situation?

If so, any deer cams in the woods that may have seen the perp, assuming there wasn't a vehicle involved?

If there was a vehicle involved then every SO between El Paso and Miami needs to be on alert.

If she finds herself back in Pumpkin Center, she’ll be well taken care of….

No, she wasn’t going hunting nor taking a walk in the woods.

Well there we have it. Glad this case is cleared up.

I live nearby and somewhat know the family. I think she was a secretary at Live Oak Middle School when my kids were there.

Hate to even imagine it, but we have heard recent rumors of criminal activity on that end of Calmes Road. Not related to her or the family at all--just recent rumors about an area physically close to where she lived. Would hate to think about foul play, but it would be a concern given the proximity to her home.

Otherwise, I would be concerned about her safety with all the nearby gravel pits--especially with all the rain we've had over the past couple of days. Our gauges overflowed on Thursday plus another 2+ inches yesterday and even more today--somewhere around 9 inches total. Those pits can be 100+ feet deep, and they are treacherous on a good day. AFAIK, she has lived here all her life, so she should have at least been aware of that possible hazard.

Regardless, keep your thoughts and prayers with the family--cannot imagine what they're going through right now.

I don’t know if she is married or not, so….

Does she have an ex-husband?
Did she break up with a guy recently or was she currently dating a guy?
Anyone trying to date her but she turned down their advances?

Very strange there was no indication of struggle so I would think she knew the person. Which I think is most often the case. If it was raining and she knew the person, she might get in a car just to talk because she didn’t want them in her house. That’s why her phone was left inside. She wouldn’t think she was leaving.

Not too many houses close by and it’s a one entrance street so probably not a crime of opportunity like someone just driving by or a vagrant walking down a road traveling.

Main point is finding her though but it’s been raining a lot and a ton of water bodies nearby I’m afraid.

Sounds eerily similar to the Barbara Blount disappearance

That is exactly who I was telling my cousins about this evng. I lived off cane market when she was abducted & it really worried me knowing she has never been found.

Ms Blount was in LP.

Im also wondering if this was a Denham address why St Helena is investigating this one?

Even though Denham Springs is usually in Livingston Parish, there are some homes in St. Helena Parish that have their cities lised as Denham Springs. It’s why the case is not in Livingston Parish.

This sounds more like a situation where she had a medical event or fell and was injured somewhere near the property

Depends on the timeline - because I haven’t seen one yet
