I defend cops most of the time. They have a tough job and things happen fast. I give them a hell of a lot of grace.
This wasn't clean. It's not easily justifiable.
Do I think The officer should be locked up?
No.
But this is the end of his career in law enforcement.
He doesn't have the constitution for it and we should expect that at minimum from people that hold the sword of damocles over us.
You don't dump on a soccer mom going 5 mph on a snowy road.
Legally? I think he's justified.
Personally?
He's a frick wit that should never have been given a badge and a gun.
The lady was an idiot too and it's a fricking tragedy, but those we give the power of life and death to are held to a higher standard.
This wasn't clean. It's not easily justifiable.

Local news Fox 8 reporting this story LYING, didn’t even mention that she was trying to run over the agents! And showed a cropped video where you can’t see them in front of her.

What I saw was a Honda CRV on a suburban street back up, officers attempt to open the door, the car move forward about 4-6 feet and an officer that positioned himself in front of the car shoot 3-4 rounds through the windshield and passenger door.
Cop is a fricking idiot. Woman is a bigger idiot. End of story.

I'm not sure how many times you read it what I wrote or watched the video from a good angle, but it apparently still wasn't enough to grasp that the officer who shot her was the one whom she almost ran over. In the heat of the moment he had no idea she was trying to run, all he knew was that she was aiming a vehicle at him and driving toward him while accelerating.
She put herself in danger by blocking the road in the first place (after having traveled across multiple states to do so). The lesson here, where you or others want to admit it, is to not frick with officers attempting to do their jobs.

Wrong again. There was an officer in front of the vehicle, the most common video is from an angle where the one trying to open the door is between that officer and the person taking the video.
When she hit her gas pedal, that officer was in front of her vehicle and had to dodge away from her to avoid being run over. As he dodged, he also drew and shot.
The only lesson here, for anyone being rational, is to not frick with officers trying to do their jobs.

I did see a video last year of a road rage incident where the chick got out and Taco Bell shite on the person in front of hers hood.

Guess you and I are just different. My instinct wouldn’t be to pull a gun and kill someone who lightly pressed a gas pedal, accelerating at the break neck speed of 2 MPH. You got me, big dog.
