That was a very poorly written article. This is a trend that I've been noticing lately with news articles.

It clearly said what was wrong with her. She is a drug addict. They begin teaching children in pre-school about good and bad choices. Apparently, her life is riddled with bad choices. Drugs do not force themselves into your system.

Gonna play devil's advocate here. Why did he punch her and walk away? He clearly wasn't interested in robbing her. It looked like she said something to him to set him off, or they were having an extended argument.
The guy is still a POS for hitting a woman, and the people afterwards are pieces of shite too. But I've been downvoted into oblivion here for saying something like "there's never a reason to hit a woman".
