Nah, they're are plenty of Darwin Award Winners that have had kids. I'd say the vast majority of Darwin Award Winners are these Johnny Appleseeds that have already diluted the gene pool to one extent or another.

The entire point of the "Darwin award" is that the person died before they could pass on their genes. Otherwise it doesn't have anything to do with Darwin and survival of the fittest.

It means you can't pass on your genes any further. And the Darwin Awards site says it is not disqualifying to already have spawn: LINK

Worked in Yellowstone while in college & got to be friends with several area Park Rangers. Asked one who would win between a bison & a grizzly. He said that if the bison had a running start he would knock any grizzly on its arse. But then the grizzly's agility & more weapons, teeth & claws, would win in the end. But if the bison's charge caught him just right..........Said the most common dumbest tourist act was fishermen keeping their catch attached to their belts while fishing in the streams, instead of following Park safety signs & keeping them in a basket on the shore.

I think this is pretty common at Yellowstone. People don't realize that the wild animals are wild. Bison are fricking huge. 25 yards would be too close for me unless I was in some kind of platform or protected area.

It never ceases to boggle my mind. They act like it's a fricking zoo or an amusement park attraction.
