Y’all are all pussies. I have 2 friends with a total of 3 pit bulls. They’re all giant and the biggest pushover dogs of all time. Are pit bulls aggressive? Not all of them. Are they most prone to be? Yeah maybe. Doesn’t make them all bad.

Allow me to play devil's advocate and just say that if the dog was rescued from the shelter, we really have no idea what its life was like before

Why are we giving out pit bulls when we have no clue how they were raised?

That's why you don't adopt dogs from shelters.

Lots of dogs who aren't pits get rescued from bad owners and go on to never murdering anyone.

Lots end up not murdering anyone? So there is some that do, right? What’s that percentage? Oh, and if I need to ask the question, “what percentage end up killing people?”, then I’m not taking it in.

Not sure what percentage of non-pit rescues kill people but it's probably whatever percent are actually pit mixes unbeknownst to anyone.

Exactly.

It's like being given a 1 LB. bag of M&Ms. You love M&Ms, but you're told one of them is tainted and will kill you, but no one can tell which one it is.

Do you eat even one of those M&Ms? Of course not.

Pit bulls are different, though. Till they're not, and some moron is quoted in a news article that "...he was the sweetest dog. We don't know what happened."

Rescue pits are really not a great idea unless the person is very experienced or knows how to deal with that kind of thing.

"Oh this exceptionally powerful dog was trained for fighting and grew up in horrible conditions where it had to fend / defend itself its whole life - lets go ahead and give it to just anyone whose heart is in the right place".
