With the recent celebrity photo hacks, why do they continue to take those photos?

First, how do you think these photos get to the cloud storage?

Second, these are always phishing attacks where the victims are tricked into giving up their username and password. If you give a thief your key, it's not the lock makers problem your shite got stolen.

Right, but it's not their 'phones' being hacked. It's their cloud. So, they'd actually probably be safer if the photos were in the phone but not stored in cloud storage...unless they are prone to leaving phones all over the place.
