I was told by a very high ranking person who knew details about this that "Big Chief" had entered a room that none other than Al-Zarqawi (Yes...that SOB) was in with his two right hand men during this action. Big Chief killed the two right hand guys and got a hard hit with a round into al-Zarqawi as he was exiting the room via escape tunnel, upon which he blew the building with a bomb to cover his exit. Big Chief took a round (or two...I can't remember exactly) during the gunfight with the three before being killed by the detonation of the bomb.
That, ladies and gentleman, is the true definition of a hero.
