Unfortunately I have the feeling that it's all downhill from here.

It'll peak sometime between now and November.

After the election there will be a quick spike in riots and shite and by Christmas we'll all be moving on. Mark it, dude.

“Also, wear your mask, even if you are home, to participate in a virtual meeting that involves being seen — such as on Zoom or another video-conferencing platform — by non-DNR staff,” Cole said, according to the Sentinel. “Set the safety example which shows you as a DNR public service employee care about the safety and health of others.”

I saw a reporter on TV in an empty arena in the NBA bubble with nobody anywhere in sight wearing a mask.

They do it for image.

This will UNDOUBTEDLY go down as the absolutely worst generation of Americans to ever exist. It’s hard to imagine how stupid a people with all that information and intelligence at their fingertips being so incredibly dumb AF, and then the best part, shaming previous generations for being stupid. That’s just the icing on the cake.

These people don't want you to just wear the mask, but to do so enthusiastically. Wear it 24/7. Report those who dissent. Has your child completed his or her suspicious activity booklet? Don't let this summer go to waste.

in no way does this surprise me

and its just with non-staff, so its literally just virtue signalling

this is why I could never work for the government, despite the benefits and how easy it is

even the experts say this is dumb

quote:

From a medical perspective, masks need to be worn at home only in limited situations, such as to protect people if someone living with them has COVID-19, said Nasia Safdar, the medical director of infection control at UW Health.

“Beyond that, there is not a reason to routinely wear a mask in your home if that risk isn’t there,” she said.

Safdar said wearing a mask on a Zoom call may be a way to show support for the idea, but, “in general I would tie mask use to transmission risk, and that doesn’t seem to be a good reason to wear it.”

Anyone who is buying into the science at this point is blind, stupid and retarded.

This isn't science. This is political hackery from someone who thinks that government employees need to set a good example. Think of it like a dress code BUT only if they interact with someone from outside the agency.

This is the kind of logic I think these people have:

Dear Facebook,

I had a close call the other night. Please read this, take proper precautions, and share. I was sitting on my sofa the other night watching TV when a masked man broke into my house and pointed a gun at me. He stole my TV and stereo. I was so rattled that I was shaking, because I was barely able to put my mask on before he entered the living room! THANK GOD I hadn't left it on my nightstand like I usually do. Stay safe out there, and stop the spread!!
