Wait... I thought the bad stuff wasn't supposed to hit until Tuesday night?

Depends on your location. It's starting tonight about midnight in NWLA and supposed to snow until dawn. I'd assume CENLA and SELA will be during the day and into tomorrow evening.

Lafayette Parish Public Schools closed tomorrow.

Always amazes me when they announce before St Landry or Evangeline in these situations.

St Landry is saying right now that they will be open Tomorrow.

Ouachita Parish, Monroe City Schools, and Grambling now closed. I’ve heard Tech is closed but I haven’t seen anything official

They seem to always be first for these things lately.

I expect that they will announce pretty soon. Evangeline is saying by 6 PM, but if everyone around announces closures, I doubt they are going to be the only 2 parishes open.

I just got a winter weather advisory for Opelousas, so that should speed it up. I doubt schools open under a winter weather advisory.

And now ULM is closed so you can put Tech, Grambling, and ULM as colleges that are closed for tomorrow

And now Evangeline closed as well.

Funny how half of Acadiana will all make the decision within 30 minutes of each other.

I believe Lafayette was the only one with a closure announced 45 minutes ago. Now Evangeline, Iberia, St Landry, St Martin, and Vermilion are all on with closures.
