The Diocese schools in Memphis are closed.

It will be an empty school, no one is driving their kid to school on those roads tomorrow lmao

EBR can't afford to close for the day, too many bright minds making tremendous strides everyday in this world of academia.

In EBR? You better believe those parents are putting their kids on the bus. EBR schools are glorified daycares

I'm just happy to know. They better not cancel it now

WOW EBR WORRIED about Uncle Sam dollars. 3/4 of its students will learn absolutely nothing tomorrow.

Moms are pissed and laughing on EBR's FB post

I thought they were going until noon so the day doesn’t count as a cancellation.

Its a half day for them?

If you don't want your kid out, don't send them to school. It isn't like it's college. They aren't going to fail your kid for not being in school during a possible icy day.
This. If you feel it's unsafe, stay home with your kid.

Sad thing is most kids in EBR have to go to school to get food. So, that’s always a big factor in the decision.

All it takes is one bus to slide off the road with the ice and the EBR school board is in a PR nightmare

What's the end game with these dummies?
Close at 11am or Noon, try to rush everyone home when it's obvious that the forecast tonight is correct?

Have you seen the food served in EBR schools? It's absolutely ridiculous what they serve those kids

It was. But with the rate things are changing, they may have canceled fully.
