I Remember in 2008 they weren't saying shite, just a possible chance of snow, and I filmed that morning at 7am, it was crazy how much snow was coming down at one point.

exactly
I remember hearing a chance of sleet on the northshore... ended up with ~3" of snow

You guys should remove the sticky on this thread. As the weather is not going to be as bad as anyone thought it would be. Most of the greater nola area is going to get rain and possible/sleet or ice. So unless someone wants to keep this sticky up for those in baton rouge. This sticky is no longer needed.

We got snow 3 out of 4 years in Houma. The only one that had any accumulation was the one on Christmas. 2007 maybe

The low inches down to 23 down tues night and the freezing rain wording is gone and it's wintry mix, and the low during the day went from "36" to "low to mid 30's"

By the time I wake up it will be Alaska out here at this rate

Same here but I don't think u saw my post way earlier..

No one is talking about the .5-1 inches of rain we got from 5-8 am mon morning, all that standing water that is out there (and it's a lot) is going to freeze before any of the stuff from the sky falls down, it's going to get pretty bad I'm afraid.

I think we'll keep it stickied for the few posters that we have outside of NOLA.

Not trolling. We all know all the public school and places closing for the next two days. So need a sticky for that. And if you want to keep a sticky only so a portion of the state can say it snowed, and the rest of the state can bitch about how they got nothing that is up to yall.
