What is interesting is that there is more than one forecast/prediction/opinion or educated guess. I don't take just one as gospel, and it is interesting to see which one ends up being accurate.

The soundings for New Orleans probably never switch over to snow. Yes, the 850s crash but the thickness never gets right b/c of the warm nose. I was thinking that they would switch to snow but after looking at things it doesn't look like they will.

it's 50/50, like always. i wouldn't get your hopes up for snow, but i'd still be cautious

I never get my hopes up for it this far south. It usually doesn't pan out. I generally go home to see snow.

Quick question. I'm looking at the radar on accuweather and it's showing lots or precipitation everywhere. Blue everywhere over Gonzales yet nothing is falling here. What gives?

Just went get gas in prairieville

As of right now it's not horrible, but as I was pumping gas somebody blew by on the road going at least 50

its just not hitting the ground, i hear of sleet near reserve and laplace..
